Abortion is a state issue; and only for mother's health

Q: Do you agree with the VoteMatch topic, "Abortion is a woman's right"?

A: My position is, that this is a state issue... not a federal issue. Personally, I believe the government shouldn't have any role in regulating what anyone does with their body.. However, once the fetus is capable of living independently of the mother, and actually capable of being an independent person, then I believe the only justifiable termination of that life is in the mother's physical self defense.
