Trade deficit of $124B with China makes problems

On the problems with our Chinese trade: In 2003, our trade deficit with China was $124,000,000,000. We entered into a bilateral trade agreement with China in 2002 that allows them to put a 25% percent tariff on all US cars we send to them. Wal-Mart alone imported nearly $15,000,000,000 from China in 2003. Wal-Mart is China's fifth largest export market. NAFTA converted a farm export surplus into falling prices

On the impact of NAFTA on US Farmers: Prior to NAFTA the United States had a $200 million annual surplus on farm product exports to Canada and Mexico. Today we have a $1,500 million ($1.5 billion) trade deficit on agricultural products with the two countries. 80% of the food stuff that is entering the United States under NAFTA are products that are already raised in the United States. Congressional amendments of all "free trade agreements"

All our "free trade agreements" should be reviewed by Congress and each should be amended to ensure that any trade generated must result in balanced or equable trade so we stop the current trade deficits. If they cannot be so amended, then we must end such agreements including the WTO and NAFTA. Such review and negotiations shall be conducted in a specific time frame of 18 months of the trade agreement shall be automatically declared null and void by the United States.
