Fight conditions in Afghanistan that breed terrorism

The candidates agreed that the United States must continue to fight the conditions in Afghanistan and elsewhere that breed terrorism. "You want to get it to the point where it's tamped down, where it's not always harming us," Franken said. Out of Iraq; real war on terror is in Afghanistan

Q: Do you support the statement, "US troops out of Iraq"?

A: Support. We never should have gone to war with Iraq. The real war on terrorists is in Afghanistan.
