- AB magna cum laude from Princeton University, 1955
- LLB from Harvard University, 1958
Professional Experience:
- His book Unsafe at Any Speed (1965) influenced Congress to bring automobile design under federal control.
- Since 1965, Nader has been considered the most prominent leader of the U.S. consumer protection movement.
- His team of investigators is popularly dubbed "Nader's Raiders"
- Founded the Center for the Study of Responsive Law, the Center for Auto Safety, and the Public Interest Research Group.
- Named by the LA Times as one of the 50 people who most influenced business this century.
- Authored dozens of books on issues of consumer safety, citizen advocacy, and other political topics.
Political Experience:
- Ran as a write-in presidential candidate in 1992
- As the 1996 presidential nominee of the Green Party, Nader won 684,902 votes.
