More funds for Soc. Sec; invest in stocks; supports Lockbox
Hagelin supports the following statements regarding Social Security:
Invest a portion of Social Security’s assets collectively in stocks and bonds
Invest a portion of the budget surplus into the
Social Security trust fund
Require individuals to pay the Social Security tax on incomes above $68,400 (which is currently exempt).
Support a lock box measure until Social Security and Medicare’s long-term solvency is guaranteed.

Government is looting our investment trust
As long as we continue to loot Social Security, we’ll never be able to count on a secure retirement. Social Security
has to be sacrosanct. It’s meant to be an investment trust in our future. It can’t continue to be looted by the two parties in order to pay for a continually burgeoning government.
