We stand for bilateral fair trade agreements and withdrawal from NAFTA, CAFTA & other trade agreements which disrupt the Mexican, Central American and other economies and force workers & farmers to leave their home countries in search of work to survive.
Q: What about global trade agreement negotiations?
A: I completely oppose the entire regime of corporate-controlled trade, and the myriad of illegitimate agreements and institutions that have been created to further that regime.
I am proud to have marched in Seattle against the WTO in 1999, and I have helped to organize Green Party participation in protests and rallies against FTAA, NAFTA, GATT, WTO, IMF, and the World Bank.
